There’s some interesting stuff coming out of Germany the last few days. This drop-top really gets me going because it retains a sense of modesty. Physically this ride avoids the excesses certain German tuners are known for, but under the hood they definitely pump out the ponies (up to 362HP).

More Hartge goodies, 1 Series this time

Wednesday, 06. 17. 2009  –  Category: Aftermarket News, Main

Hartge seems to be on a heavy product announcement schedule lately, with word leaking out regarding their new products for the current BMW 1 Series ( E82 and E88 with M Aerodynamic package). While in my eyes the front end treatment looks a little bit chunky, I definitely dig the little roof spoiler they’ve got [...]

Wednesday, 06. 3. 2009  –  Category: Aftermarket News, Main

I admit it, with Hartge’s help I’m warming up to the X6. It took a while, but damn if this set of body modifications from one of Germany’s uber-tuners doesn’t look absolutely FIERCE!
Hartge just announced details on their new product line for the BMW SAV, which include some pretty aggressively sculpted pieces. It’s a complete [...]

AC Schnitzer releases MINI Cabrio product line

Wednesday, 06. 3. 2009  –  Category: Aftermarket News, Main

I’ve not really spent much time (ok, fair enough, ANY time) on BMW’s MINI, but something about the pics of the little tiger in ACS trim struck me as… HOT! Legendary Aachen-based BMW tuner AC Schnitzer just announced a comprehensive program for the MINI Cabrio in both standard and S versions.
Kicking off this package are [...]

Bavarian BMW tuner G-Power is known for their over-the-top, no-holds-barred, all-out quest for… go figure: POWER! They have come up with some increasingly wicked cars in the past (remember the Hurricane?) and have hit the mark once again with this worked-over version of BMW’s V8 M3, the G-Power M3 Tornado.
The G-Power crew figured out a [...]

BMW to offer “Edition” M3 versions later this year

Saturday, 05. 30. 2009  –  Category: BMW News, Main

The folks over at autoblog.com cottoned me on to the fact that BMW plans to offer some sauced up versions of the already awesome new M3 later in ‘09. From the sounds of it the bulk of the package will be focused on limited-edition appearance, rather than performance.
Based on the M3 Coupe, four colors will [...]

Hamann released details on their program for the new BMW F-01/02 7 Series today, with a nice set of high resolution pics included. The Laupheim, Germany based tuner initially announced several rim options, but now has expanded their offering to include everything from an aerodynamics package (roof spoiler, rear spoiler, side skirts, etc.) to variable [...]

Hartge throws its hat in the E89 Z4 ring

Wednesday, 05. 13. 2009  –  Category: Aftermarket News, Main

Hartge recently released info on their initial product launches for BMW’s new Z4 hardtop roadster. Of course, given the relatively short development time, the first announcements focus on easily adapted items such as badging, pedals, exhaust tips and rims. Similar to competitors AC Schnitzer and Hamann, further product releases will include a full bodykit and [...]
