There’s some interesting stuff coming out of Germany the last few days. This drop-top really gets me going because it retains a sense of modesty. Physically this ride avoids the excesses certain German tuners are known for, but under the hood they definitely pump out the ponies (up to 362HP).

Kneißler’s E46 M3, some good, some gaudy.

Wednesday, 09. 2. 2009  –  Category: Aftermarket News, Main

Ok, I need to get this off my chest first: does ANYONE actually think Lambo doors are still cool/relevant? I might have chuckled -once- when I saw them mounted on a Civic a decade ago, but at this point they really are a feature that should be relegated to the same pile that whistle exhausts [...]

Monday, 07. 27. 2009  –  Category: Aftermarket News, Main

Vorsteiner, one of my personal favorites of the BMW tuning scene, recently released some details on their new front bumper for the E90/E92 M3. Continuing their track record of high quality, high detail work, this piece of vacuum bagged carbon fiber deliciousness will set your run-of-the-mill M3 apart from the masses for sure. I admit it, with Hartge’s help I’m warming up to the X6. It took a while, but damn if this set of body modifications from one of Germany’s uber-tuners doesn’t look absolutely FIERCE!
Hartge just announced details on their new product line for the BMW SAV, which include some pretty aggressively sculpted pieces. It’s a complete [...]

Wednesday, 06. 3. 2009  –  Category: Aftermarket News, Main

I’ve not really spent much time (ok, fair enough, ANY time) on BMW’s MINI, but something about the pics of the little tiger in ACS trim struck me as… HOT! Legendary Aachen-based BMW tuner AC Schnitzer just announced a comprehensive program for the MINI Cabrio in both standard and S versions.
Kicking off this package are [...]

G-Power M3 Tornado: 500HP fuel saver!

Monday, 06. 1. 2009  –  Category: Aftermarket News, Main

Bavarian BMW tuner G-Power is known for their over-the-top, no-holds-barred, all-out quest for… go figure: POWER! They have come up with some increasingly wicked cars in the past (remember the Hurricane?) and have hit the mark once again with this worked-over version of BMW’s V8 M3, the G-Power M3 Tornado.
The G-Power crew figured out a [...]
