Lumma Design releases new E60 & M5 trunk lid

German tuner Lumma Design recently announced the release of their latest piece of body kit goodness, a rear deck/trunk/hatch lid for the BMW E60 5-Series, including the M5. Developed entirely in-house, Lumma claims the design generates additional downforce due to the resculpted spoiler lip. This piece is available in two versions:

- Full carbon surface skin with a hybrid carbon/kevlar bottom, weighing in at 8kg or 17.6 pounds
- GFK (Fiberglass reinforced plastic) with kevlar reinforcement, with a weight of 14kg/30.9 pounds

Both mount to the original attachment points, and should be fully paintable should you desire. MSRP for the CF version isn’t as light as the lid itself: 4700 Euros… but at least that includes the 19% local sales tax. The GFK product will retail around the 2600 Euro mark, once again including tax.
