As we speculated a few days ago, a few official-looking photos of BMW’s new pair of worked over SAV’s are trickling in. Spy shots of the much anticipated Motorsport versions of the X5 and X6 have been floating around the blogosphere in abundance lately, after all. Seeing pics of these two cars without camo and in some inspiring colors finally give us a clear sense of what the front end will look like. From these shots, the X5M front end doesn’t look entirely dissimilar to that of the G-Power Typhoon X5, with enlarged air intakes framing the front facia.
Performance numbers for the two new M’s are quite impressive. Both the X5M and X6M feature a 555HP/500lb-ft V8 engine displacing 4.4 liters. With that amount of power under the hood, new X5M owners can expect their rumps to scoot from 0 to 60MPH in a highly competitive 4.5 seconds!
