Bimmerfile review of the 135i BMW Performance version
Monday, 03. 30. 2009 – Category: Aftermarket News, Main
Bimmerfile just posted a fantastic intro to their experience with the BMW 135i with a slew of BMW Performance add-ons. This rather comprehensive tuning program appears to be targeted at BMW fans who prefer relatively easy bolt on improvements vs. doing deeper development work, but all in all it sounds like a sweet little uptick in performance across the board. The fact that it’s all factory stuff and can be dealer-installed makes it very compelling. Specific components available include cast & machined rims, new boot spoiler, cross-drilled rotors, new exhaust, that insane BMW LED steering wheel whose features include “a G-meter, a stopwatch with lap timing functions, a quarter-mile timer, an engine temp readout, and adjustable shift lights.” Pricing for the individual components is available on BMW’s Accessories site.
From the sounds of it this is one nice little ride, and we look forward to seeing the rest of the experience the folks at Bimmerfile had with the 1er.
